IREagents.com recognizes the value of networking together at the grassroots level. The ”Resources - Tools” section of this website is dedicated to the free exchange of thoughts and ideas between real estate agents.

As you continue to develop your website presence on the internet, the IRE network staff will work to assist your development efforts by publishing ideas and tools found beneficial by other successful real estate agents.

The ideas and techniques found in this resource guide are published by permission and for public use. If any of the specific tools are copyrighted or proprietary, they will be so marked and you will have to contact the source for permission to use them or incorporate them into your own website.

Through the sharing of ideas, real estate agents will benefit directly. Through the power of networking, individual real estate agents are empowered to be able to better compete effectively in an internet market dominated by larger and stronger internet oriented companies and still maintain their autonomy and individual agent name branding.

 Voice Players - Add voice to your website!

As a general rule, consumers do not like to read.  Adding voice instruction/information to your website can eliminate some of the need to read and positively enhance the consumers experience when visiting your website.  Our team has gotten positive feedback from consumers when we added voice players to our websites.

There are many companies that offer this service.  We built a voice player and feature it below to demonstrate this simple technology.  Listen to it and use your own ingenuity to envision how a voice player could enhance your website.

You can build your own player and host it as we have done on our real estate agent websites in The Answer Team Real Estate Network, or we know of the company below that will host the function, provide you with the player for your website and give you direct control over the voice content.  We have not used them but started to until we built our own voice player.



 

 Local Area Maps – Become a reseller and add some revenue to your bottom line.

With a useful and powerful website, you will attract out-of-area consumers relocating as well as in-area consumers buying a home in your local area. If your area is supported by a map company with a map product the consumer would find useful, setting up an affiliation with the map company can generate additional revenue for you and assist the out-of-town buyer in understanding the geography of the listings you are providing before they arrive in-area.

In our area (Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland), the ADC map company’s map coordinates are provided to the consumer in our MLS listing information. This allows the consumer in other parts of the country/world to be able to pinpoint the property of interest on a map and obtain the corresponding map over the internet.

View the ADC Maps website we set up for the consumers in our Maryland area. www.ADCMaps.us. Our agent websites host a hyperlink to our map website in numerous advantageous places throughout their agent websites.

 

 3-in-1 Merged Credit Reports – Assist the credit challenged Buyer to repair their credit history.

In coordinating with consumers wishing to buy a home, events will occur where having the consumer obtain a copy of their 3-in-1 merged credit report would be beneficial in assisting them in their effort to repair their credit history.  Providing the convenience of obtaining such a report directly through your website will bring more traffic to your website and add some additional revenue to your bottom line.

We use www.TrueCredit.com and the website we built for use by our agent websites is www.Credit-Reports.biz.   Our agent websites link to the credit reports website in several different places.  You can do the same for your agent website.
